A marine helicopter pilot (Bill Pullman) is assigned to protect her after a mail bomb explodes in her office, but they both are drawn into a web of conspiracy, murder and treason. Meanwhile, a team of soldiers from Gulf War I are mysteriously dying and/or disappearing, and the one surviving member, the key to her case, is nowhere to be found.
